George Asproukos

George was born in 1986 and is admitted to practice law in Greece since 2010. Before joining Major & Grove in May 2023, he had been working for the Greek litigation team of INCE&CO for 9 years and has served as an in house Legal Counsel for major shipping companies.
George’s practice focuses on shipping litigation and dispute resolution and has significant experience in advising leading shipping companies, charterers, ship managers, brokers, P&I Clubs and classification societies on a broad range of wet and dry shipping disputes and everyday operational issues. He handles P&I claims and FD&D disputes relating to, inter alia, charterparties, bills of lading, casualties and marine accidents.
George undertakes advisory and consultancy work on a wide range of corporate matters and sale and purchase transactions (such as the incorporation and re-domiciliation of companies, reflagging of vessels, drafting/reviewing contracts/agreements, corporate governance, conducting due diligence, carrying out negotiations) and is handling real estate purchases.
