Before joining Major & Grove in February 2021, Sofia worked as a Trainee Attorney-at-Law at Potamitis-Vekris Law Firm (2019 – 2021) and previously at Gatsos-Tsoumanis & Associates Law Firm (2018-2019). Sofia was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2021.

As part of her work, Sofia acts as in-house counsel of a prominent shipping company. She deals with corporate, corporate governance, transaction and tax issues as well as general shipping matters.

Sofia has also participated in various M&A projects, including corporate transformations and due diligence exercises and has also worked on a variety of real estate transactions, ranging from simple asset acquisitions to complex developments and financings. She has also been involved in preparing and trying cases before civil and administrative courts.
