Maria was born in 1986 and is admitted to practice law in Greece (Court of Appeals). She joined Major & Grove in October 2017 after working at Dryllerakis & Associates Law Firm from 2009 to 2017.
Maria has concluded ship sale and purchase transactions, has participated in and negotiated ship finance and other transactions and has provided advice on a wide range of corporate matters (e.g. corporate governance projects, shareholders’ agreements, incorporation of companies, corporate resolutions). She has handled tax matters and transfer-pricing issues and disputes (litigation, audits, transfer-pricing reports and planning) and has actively participated in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. In addition, Maria has undertaken extensive contract drafting, participated in M&A projects (including conducting due diligence, carrying out negotiations and drafting legal documentation), has been involved in public procurement, privatizations, restructuring and reorganizations and has advised on various business transactions (including distribution, commercial cooperation, procurement, services and real estate).
